Bookings & Payments
- All seats must be pre-booked and paid for in advance, accompanied by a reference number provided by the office or website during the booking confirmation process.
- Bank deposits must be confirmed via email at info@potgieterbussie.com or WhatsApp at 072 551 1778.
- Purchasing a ticket implies an agreement to adhere to these terms.
- Seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Passengers with special requests or medical requirements must contact the office via WhatsApp at 072 551 1778 to obtain a seat number.
Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellation and Refunds is only done through Whatsapp 072 551 1778.
- Less than 24 Hours Before Departure - No refund or rescheduling will be permitted
- More than 48 Hours Before Departure - A voucher for re-schedule will be issued, valid for 4 months.
- This voucher is valid for one-time use only and cannot be reused or reissued once redeemed.
- Cancellations or no-shows will result in the forfeiture of the voucher
Departure & Conduct
- Passengers must be at the pick-up point 15 minutes before the indicated departure time. The bus departs promptly at the stated time.
- The person collecting a passenger at the drop-off point must also arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled arrival time.
- Passengers must remain seated and wear their safety belts at all times while the bus is in motion. The company disclaims responsibility for injuries resulting from non-compliance with this regulation
- Passengers may not disembark without permission from the driver.
- The company reserves the right to deny transportation to passengers exhibiting signs of intoxication, drug use, or smoking on the bus.
Routes
- Potgieter Passasiers Vervoer will not pick up or drop off passengers at destinations not listed under the published route table.
- The company retains the right to transfer passengers between stops or vehicles for operational efficiency.
- Potgieter Passasiers Vervoer is absolved of liability for connecting flights, services, appointments, or compensation due to breakdowns or delays.
Luggage & Packages
- Each passenger is permitted 1 piece of hand luggage and 2 pieces of luggages not exceeding 20 kg each
- All luggage must be clearly labeled with Name, Surname, and Contact Number.
- Passengers are liable for any suitcase taken in error and must ensure its return to the rightful owner
- Only suitcases or bags are permissible per passenger.
- Parcels, cardboard boxes, crates, and loose luggage must be booked as an package through the office on WhatsApp at 072 551 177.

- Luggage and packages may not contain hazardous materials, explosives, flammable liquids, weapons, perishable goods, live animals, illegal substances, or any other items deemed unsafe for transport.
- Potgieter Passasiers Vervoer reserves the right to inspect, refuse, or remove any luggage or package that does not comply with these regulations.
Special Needs & Accessibility
- Passengers with medical conditions or special needs are advised to inform the office at the time of booking
- Passengers with disabilities or those requiring wheelchair accessibility must notify the company before making a booking.
- Only certified guide dogs providing essential services are permitted on board, subject to company discretion.
Liability
- Potgieter Passasiers Vervoer accepts no responsibility for loss, damage, or delays beyond its control
- The company disclaims liability for consequential loss, including missed flights, onward connections, or appointments
